Students are required to complete a minimum of 24 units of courses for graduation.
(a) Students must fulfill the Term Assessment Requirement. A student who obtains a cumulative grade point average (GPA) below 2.0 in the preceding term will be put on academic probation. For details, please refer to Clause 13.0 “Unsatisfactory Performance and Discontinuation of Studies” of the General Regulations Governing Postgraduate Studies which can be accessed from the Graduate School Homepage: http://www.cuhk.edu.hk/gss.
(b) Students must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
Notes:
If a student completes 24 units of courses (3 units per course) and intends to study any additional courses, an additional course fee is applied. In 2025-26, the additional fee is HK$21,876 per course.
