Graduation Thesis Guidance

• HIST4801 (0 unit; 1^st Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or before 2021-22)
• HIST4811 (1 unit; 1^st Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or after 2022-23)

Students need to write a thesis under the supervision of an instructor.  Topic and contents of the thesis are to be determined in consultation with the supervisor and are subject to the approval of the Department of History. Thesis proposal must be endorsed by the student’s supervisor on or before the third Monday in July.

Graduation Thesis

• HIST4802 (6 units; 2^nd Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or before 2021-22)
  The Continuation of HIST4801.
  Prerequisite: HIST4801.
• HIST4812 (5 units; 2^nd Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or after 2022-23)
  The Continuation of HIST4811.
  Prerequisite: HIST4811.
