Graduation Thesis Guidance

• HIST 4801 (0 unit; 1^st Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or before 2021-22)
• HIST 4811 (1 unit; 1^st Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or after 2022-23)

Students need to write a thesis under the supervision of an instructor.  Topic and contents of the thesis are to be determined in consultation with the supervisor and are subject to the approval of the Department of History. Thesis proposal must be endorsed by the student’s supervisor on or before the third Monday in July.

Graduation Thesis

• HIST 4802 (6 units; 2^nd Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or before 2021-22)
  The Continuation of HIST 4801.
  Prerequisite: HIST 4801.
• HIST 4812 (5 units; 2^nd Term) (Applicable to students admitted on or after 2022-23)
  The Continuation of HIST 4811.
  Prerequisite: HIST 4811.
