The Online Information Seminar for the M.A. Programme in Comparative and Public History was held on 18 October 2025. Prof. HE Xi, Programme Director, introduced the features, study schemes and course offerings of our M.A. Programme to nearly 60 prospective students.
Following the information seminar, Prof. PUK Wing Kin delivered a lecture entitled “Sharing Research Experiences in Public History”, in which he explored the essence of public history research by examining the renowned unsolved case of the Yongzheng Emperor’s Macheng Incident in 18th century Hubei.

To enhance academic and cultural exchange, Chung Chi College, New Asia College and the Department of History of the University joined hands in 2007 to establish the “Yu Ying-shih Lecture in History”. This year, Professor WANG Ming-ke, Guest Chair Professor of History at Peking University, and Academician of Academia Sinica, has been invited as the guest speaker of the following two public lectures:
