The Department of History organizes an internship programme (non-remunerated) for History major, minor and research postgraduate students during the summer vacation. The objective of the programme is to provide students with real life working experience and to apply the knowledge they have gained in an academic setting. The Programme is held between June and August with internship period lasting for 4-8 weeks, depending on individual host institutions’ arrangements. It aims to enrich students’ experience in terms of problem-solving, teamwork, independent work, research and administrative skills in the real-world context.
